Grady County, GA (September 5, 2025) – Two drivers were hospitalized Thursday morning following a crash on Tired Creek Road in Grady County, according to the Georgia State Patrol (GSP).
Troopers said the wreck happened on September 4, around 7:30 a.m. A Ford minibus was heading east on Tired Creek Rd and had partially pulled over onto the north shoulder to ask for directions. A Toyota pickup pulled up alongside the driver’s side of the minibus to assist, partially blocking the eastbound lane.
The drivers of both vehicles stepped out and were talking between the Toyota and the minibus when the crash occurred. A white Jeep Cherokee traveling east struck the Toyota on its right side, forcing it into the left side of the minibus.
The driver of the minibus was injured in the impact, while the Jeep driver also sustained injuries. Both were transported to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment. The Toyota driver was not hurt.
According to investigators, the Jeep driver said the morning sun glare contributed to the crash. After the initial collision, the Jeep veered off the roadway, hitting a fence before coming to rest in a pecan orchard.
The condition of the two injured drivers has not been released. Officials confirmed that the investigation into the cause of the crash remains active.
We wish those hurt a rapid recovery.
