Georgia Car Accidents

Atlanta, GA - Kristen Royster Loses Life in Accident on Hadaway RdFatal car accidents continue to take a heavy toll across Georgia, impacting families and communities in every corner of the state. Each year, more than 300,000 crashes are reported on Georgia roads, leaving thousands injured and far too many lives cut short.

What makes these tragedies even harder to bear is that many are entirely preventable. Careless driving behaviors—such as texting behind the wheel, speeding, or operating a vehicle under the influence—remain leading causes of deadly collisions.

Research shows that driver error is at the root of over 90% of all crashes, underscoring how dangerous decisions on the road can have life-altering consequences. Drunk driving alone accounts for a large portion of fatal accidents, while excessive speed often turns a survivable crash into a deadly one.

The effects of losing a loved one in a crash extend well beyond the immediate grief. Families are often left facing unexpected medical bills, funeral costs, lost income, and the lasting emotional trauma that comes with such a sudden and devastating loss.
